- Supervise architectural works on site for building and villa construction projects
- Ensure all architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract documents, and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and other disciplines to resolve technical and construction related issues
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and architectural samples
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations, project specifications, health & safety requirements, and local authority standards
- Monitor workmanship and ensure high quality finishing throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify non conforming works and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Prepare site reports, inspection reports, snagging lists, and progress updates
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders
- Support project delivery while ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Mentor junior architects and site engineers whenever required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in UAE
- Strong Abu Dhabi site supervision and construction experience is mandatory
- Proven experience in Building and Villa Construction Supervision projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, architectural detailing, and finishing works
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and material submissions
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations and authority approval processes
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure

Role Overview
- Khatib & Alami is seeking an experienced Senior Site Architect to join our Building & Villas Construction Supervision team in Abu Dhabi.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site supervision, architectural construction, quality control, and coordination for high end building and villa projects.
- This role requires an architect with extensive Abu Dhabi experience who can ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and Abu Dhabi authority regulations.
