Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and technical management of the Design Build Contractor's CBTC signaling team
- Lead and develop the rail signaling team while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Coordinate with client, regulatory authorities, Design Build Contractor, and other stakeholders
- Participate in design review meetings and ensure compliance with signaling system specifications
- Conduct technical reviews of signaling systems including ATP, ATO, ATS, and ATR
- Manage signaling interfaces and system integration activities with other railway disciplines
- Monitor and review signaling system design, implementation, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Prepare technical reports, analyses, evaluations, and recommendations related to signaling design
Requirements
- Experience in rail signaling systems, particularly CBTC
- Knowledge of ATP, ATO, ATS, and ATR systems
- Ability to lead and manage a signaling team
- Experience with design review and system integration

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Signaling Engineer (Systems) (Saudi National) to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide overall leadership and technical management of the Design Build Contractor's CBTC signaling team to ensure successful delivery of the signaling system in accordance with project requirements, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Lead and develop the rail signaling team while promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with the client, regulatory authorities, Design Build Contractor, and other stakeholders to manage signaling related matters and project interfaces.
- Participate in design review meetings and ensure compliance with signaling system specifications, requirements, and project objectives.
- Conduct technical reviews of signaling systems, including Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), and Automatic Train Regulation (ATR).
- Manage signaling interfaces and system integration activities with other railway disciplines and systems, including platform screen doors.
- Monitor and review signaling system design, implementation, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Support the resolution of technical, operational, and logistical issues related to signaling systems and interfaces.
- Review design submissions and provide recommendations to address critical design and integration challenges.
- Prepare technical reports, analyses, evaluations, and recommendations related to signaling design and project delivery.
- Monitor and report progress against project schedules, budgets, specifications, and performance requirements.
- Support the Programme Director in managing change, variations, risks, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
