Job Summary
Senior SDET responsible for testing components, features, and feature sets while contributing independently to immediate and partner teams.
Contribute to quality engineering discussions and software quality improvements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript and BrowserStack.
- Test EDS components across browsers, devices, and screen resolutions.
- Conduct functional, performance, memory, and accessibility testing.
- Verify adherence to design system standards and UX guidelines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand component behavior and align on requirements.
- Diagnose UI rendering issues, document defects, and collaborate with developers on fixes.
- Improve testing processes, tools, and quality engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- More than six years of software quality assurance and development experience specializing in automation engineering.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript with Playwright.
- Deep understanding of web components, DOM behavior, and browser rendering processes.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
