- Manage procurement of complex engineered materials and/or services as allocated by the Project SCM Manager
- Understand the requirements of the Project and how the PO integrates in the Project execution plan
- Understand the product and execution strategy of the Supplier, its procurement and subcontracting strategy
- Understand the risks of the PO and develop mitigation measures in advance with relevant project stakeholders
- Define the convergence plan of the PO and identify key gates, associated dates and readiness conditions
- Organize necessary audits, KOM and PPMs; monitor and expedite progress of Supplier documentation
- Raise awareness of the Project Team on PO issues that could affect performance and coordinate resolution
- Report to the Project SCM Manager and act as focal point of contact with the Supplier for commercial, contractual, progress and coordination matters
- Liaise with Package Manager to understand interfaces of the PO with other project activities
- Coordinate and liaise with other functions that have a contributing role to the final delivery of PO
- Prepare and issue shipment documentation to transit agent; ensure close relation for anticipation of release of goods
- Check Suppliers invoices, ensure SES performed and invoices cleared/paid; obtain close out certificate
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business) or qualified by experience
- Minimum of 12 years of Supply Chain Management Experience Post Award and PO Close out
- Aramco experience is required for material from Saudi and International Suppliers, for topside brown field packages
- Good knowledge of the offshore industry and its specificities and of complex items
- Demonstrate good communication skills and works well with others

Job Overview
- Subsea 7 is hiring a Senior SCM Specialist for Oil & Gas project to manage procurement of complex 'engineered' materials and/or services as allocated by the Project SCM Manager.
- They will be responsible and accountable for the final delivery of the materials/services as per the requirements of the Project: technical specification, safety performance, schedule, quality, contractual risks, etc.
Key Responsibilities Post Award Management
- Understands the requirements of the Project (scope of work, delivery schedule, budget, flow down conditions) and how the PO integrates in the Project execution plan and interfaces with other Project activities.
- Understands the product and the execution strategy of the Supplier, its procurement and subcontracting strategy, the key engineering and manufacturing steps and the associated risks.
- Understands the risks of the PO and develop mitigation measures in advance with the relevant project stakeholders.
- Defines the convergence plan of the PO and identify the key gates, associated dates and readiness conditions.
- Organizes necessary audits, KOM and PPMs. They monitor and expedite the progress of the Supplier documentation and the timely treatment of Technical Queries, Deviation Requests and Non Compliance Reports.
- Raises the awareness of the Project Team on PO issues that could affect the performance of the Project and coordinates their resolution with the support of the relevant project stakeholders.
- Reports to the Project SCM Manager and is the focal point of contact with the Supplier for all commercial, contractual, progress and coordination matters.
- Liaises with the Package Manager to understand the interfaces of the PO with other project activities and to include the associated constraints in the contract.
- Coordinates and liaises with other functions that have a contributing role to the final delivery of PO.
- Works in straight collaboration and team spirit with the Technical Owner and the Quality Owner.
- Prepare and issue the shipment documentation to the transit agent.
- Check Suppliers invoices, ensuring SES are performed and invoices are cleared/paid and the final account.
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business) or qualified by experience
- Have a minimum of 12 years of Supply Chain Management Experience Post Award and PO Close out
- Aramco experience is required for material from Saudi and International Suppliers, for topside brown field packages
- Is not required to solve technical issues but shall be able to understand technical discussions and to measure potential associated commercial or schedule impacts.
- Is 'cost saving' oriented, and capable of challenging requests.
- Have a good knowledge of the offshore industry and its specificities and of complex items.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and works well with others.
