About the Role

- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for the lighting business line
- Identify business opportunities by recognizing prospects and evaluating their position in the industry
- Schedule and attend meetings with clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
- Prepare meaningful reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Actively execute business development activities by identifying and acquiring new customers
- Respond to business enquiries or tenders through development of comprehensive proposals
- Provide price quotes after careful assessment of requirements
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products
- Follow up with customers to ensure collections are made as per targets
Requirements
- Engineering background is essential
- Lighting sales experience
- Proficient in English and Arabic
- Experience with suppliers, specifiers, design houses, and dealers preferred

Role Description
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline for the lighting business line, identifying key business opportunities and segmented prospects, and meeting or exceeding annual targets.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities by recognizing prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
- Schedule and attend meetings with clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Identify product improvements or new products by staying up to date on industry trends.
- Keep a close tab on competitors to stay abreast of new trends in the lighting industry.
- Prepare meaningful reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Develop and maintain healthy relationships with customers through regular visits and follow ups.
- Actively execute business development activities by identifying and acquiring new customers.
- Respond to business enquiries or tenders through development of comprehensive proposals.
- Provide price quotes after careful assessment of requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Regularly follow up with customers to ensure collections are made as per targets.
Qualifications
- Engineering background is essential.
- Lighting sales experience required.
- Preferable candidates that have worked with both suppliers and specifiers, design houses, and dealers.
- Languages: English – proficient, Arabic proficient.
