About the Role

  • We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system across its operations, specifically in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Health, Safety & Environmental Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian HSE regulations, labor laws, and client specific safety requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable international standards.
  • Develop HSE policies, procedures, safe work practices, and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety assessments across all active projects.
  • Ensure all project sites maintain safe working conditions and comply with company HSE standards.
  • Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement effective control measures.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and ensure timely reporting to management and clients.
  • Analyze trends and recommend initiatives to reduce workplace risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent are required.
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of HSE experience within construction, fit out, MEP, lighting, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia HSE regulations, occupational health and safety legislation, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits.
  • Experience managing HSE requirements for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to influence teams and promote a strong safety culture across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HSE reporting systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
