About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager (EMEA) – Power Solutions to drive business growth across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe (EMEA).
  • This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in the Electrical Power industry and experience selling engineering software, enterprise software, or technical solutions to utilities, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and industrial organizations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, managing the complete sales lifecycle, and delivering consultative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and revenue growth across the EMEA region for software and technology solutions within the Electrical Power sector.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with power utilities, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, industrial organizations, and key decision makers.
  • Lead customer engagements from opportunity identification through technical discussions, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, webinars, workshops, and customer training sessions.
  • Support pre sales activities by understanding customer requirements and providing solution architecture, integration guidance, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
  • Partner with engineering consultancy firms and channel partners to expand market reach and generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Identify cross sell and upsell opportunities within existing customer accounts to increase software and services revenue.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and support renewal of annual software subscriptions, maintenance contracts, and support agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop technical content, case studies, and sales collateral.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or another STEM discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical/software sales within the Electrical Power industry.
  • Proven experience selling enterprise software, engineering software, simulation tools, or technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Power Systems, including transmission, distribution, and utility operations.
  • Established network within electrical utilities, engineering consultancies, EPC contractors, manufacturing companies, and large industrial facilities across the Middle East.
  • Experience managing the complete enterprise sales lifecycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closure.
  • Strong consultative selling, solution selling, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and customer presentations.
  • Excellent business development, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working across multiple countries within the EMEA region is highly desirable.
  • Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region as required.
