Role Overview
- We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Social Media to lead and scale a high performing social media practice for a leading agency in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
- This is a leadership role for a professional with deep agency experience, strong operational expertise, and a proven track record of managing large social media teams, driving social strategy, and leading client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Social Media department, including strategy, operations, team management, and business growth.
- Develop and execute integrated social media strategies across multiple platforms and client portfolios.
- Own social media governance, operating models, frameworks, and best practices.
- Lead strategic discussions with senior stakeholders and clients.
- Drive client pitches, presentations, and business development initiatives.
- Oversee content strategy, paid social, community management, analytics, and performance optimization.

Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience leading a Social Media department within a Digital/Creative/Advertising Agency.

- Deep expertise across social media platforms, analytics, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Strong understanding of governance models, operating frameworks, and process optimization.
- Extensive experience in client management, strategic consulting, and pitch presentations.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in the KSA market.
- Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.
- Experience managing regional or global client portfolios.
- Exposure to integrated digital marketing and social commerce strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Not suitable for: General Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, Marketing Consultants, Professionals without dedicated agency side social media leadership experience.
