You sell core banking software.
To banks.
In the Middle East.
Not payments infrastructure.
Not lending SaaS.
Not digital banking overlays or neobank tooling.
Core banking.
The platform that runs the general ledger, the deposits engine, the loans module, the customer master record.
The software that a licensed bank cannot operate without.
You know the names: Temenos, Mambu, Thought Machine, Oracle FLEXCUBE, Finastra Fusion, Path Solutions, ICS Banks.
You have sold against them, or for one of them, or both.
You understand that selling a core banking replacement to a retail or Islamic bank in the Gulf is a two-to-four year sales cycle.
That the key relationships are the CIO, the COO, and the CEO — not a procurement manager.
That the Central Bank of the UAE, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority, and the Central Bank of Egypt each have specific regulatory requirements that shape how a deal is structured, scoped, and phased.
You have either closed a core banking deal in the MEA region or you are significantly advanced in one right now.
The opportunity
A well-capitalised core banking software firm with live implementations across the region is expanding its senior sales function in Dubai.
This is a high-autonomy role with a genuinely competitive package, regional mandate, and the commercial backing to pursue enterprise deals seriously.
You are the right candidate if
You have a minimum of six years of enterprise software sales experience, with a significant portion of that time spent specifically selling core banking platforms into tier-two or tier-three banks, development finance institutions, or financial holding groups across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or wider Africa.
You are fluent in the regional sales environment — the relationship culture, the decision-making dynamics, the RFP process at a Gulf bank, and what it takes to move an evaluation from shortlist to signed contract.

— Your enterprise software experience is in ERP, CRM, HR tech, or general financial SaaS
— You have not sold specifically into licensed banks or financial institutions
— You do not have direct MEA market experience
— You are looking for a remote or hybrid arrangement from outside the region
— Your core banking knowledge is implementation or consulting rather than commercial
The market for this profile is small.
