Maharah Human Resources Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Specialist to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the company's operations and strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will develop risk management policies and procedures to ensure the organization's resilience and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze potential risks across various business functions and projects
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and controls
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Monitor emerging risks and industry trends to proactively address potential threats
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
- Facilitate risk awareness training and promote a risk-conscious culture within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in risk management or related roles, preferably in senior positions
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in risk management software and MS Office applications
- Relevant certifications such as CRM, FRM, or similar are highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and lead risk management initiatives
