Role Overview

Your Role

• Develop and monitor risk, issue, and opportunity management processes.
• Maintain a risk matrix identifying dependencies and schedule impacts.
• Identify, monitor, and manage dependencies and related issues.
• Coordinate discussions and agreements to realize opportunities and benefits.
• Ensure robust risk management processes remain active across projects.
• Implement the Risk Management Plan, Risk Log, and governance process.
• Track, evaluate, manage, review, and communicate significant risks.
• Manage inter-programme, external, and internal programme-related risks.
• Review and update the Risk Log against programme status reports and meetings.

Client Objectives

• Provide accurate and timely management information on project status.
• Monitor project progress and drive or accelerate delivery where appropriate.
• Manage risks and opportunities at programme level.
• Drive commonality and coherence between projects.
• Ensure project interdependencies are understood and managed.
• Ensure appropriate legal and commercial standards are set and followed.
• Support value for money through supplier negotiations.
• Build client capacity through knowledge and skills transfer.
• Implement best-practice programme, project, and administrative processes.

About You

• Minimum of 20 years of risk management experience.
• At least 5 years as a Risk Manager in the construction or engineering industry.
• Graduate degree in engineering, business, or an equivalent qualification.
• Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent are also referenced.
• Risk management qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Understanding and experience of complex projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
• Track record of risk management.
