The Facilities Management (FM) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facilities services, ensuring that buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained efficiently, safely, and in compliance with organizational standards.
This role supervises maintenance staff, coordinates service vendors, and ensures optimal functionality of infrastructure to support business operations.
Your Role
- Supervise and coordinate daily facility operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and security services
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Manage and monitor vendor performance for outsourced services
- Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Handle work orders, service requests, and ensure timely closure
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, assets, and compliance documentation
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Assist in budget planning and control facility-related expenses
- Support emergency response activities and crisis management procedures
- Train, guide, and supervise facility staff for efficient performance
- Implement energy-saving and cost optimization initiatives
About you
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in facilities management or maintenance supervision
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
- Experience in vendor management and contract handling
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office and facility management systems (CMMS preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
