About the Role
Khatib & Alami is seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer/Project Manager to lead construction supervision for high-rise buildings, luxury villas, and mixed-use towers in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site supervision team for high rise buildings, luxury villas, and tower developments
- Act as the primary representative of the Consultant and liaise with Clients, Contractors, Authorities, and other stakeholders
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and local authority regulations
- Manage project execution to achieve quality, safety, budget, and schedule objectives
- Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve technical and contractual issues
- Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests
- Administer construction contracts in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract
- Evaluate contractor claims, variations, extension of time (EOT) requests, and payment applications
- Chair weekly and monthly project progress meetings and prepare progress reports
- Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and specialist consultants
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense, and other relevant authority requirements
- Lead project risk management and implement mitigation strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree is an advantage)
- Minimum 15+ years of professional experience in construction supervision and project management
- Minimum 10 years of UAE experience with an Engineering Consultancy is mandatory
- Proven experience delivering high rise buildings, luxury villas, residential towers, mixed use developments, and premium building projects
- Strong background in construction supervision for consultant organizations
- Extensive knowledge of FIDIC Contracts, contract administration, project planning, risk management, and quality assurance
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and supervision teams
- Strong understanding of UAE construction regulations, authority approvals, and industry standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and project management software
- PMP Certification is highly preferred
