- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high performing work environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in corporate banking, with a strong focus on relationship management and credit risk assessment
- Proven track record in developing and managing complex client relationships, preferably in the energy sector
- Excellent knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated success in deal origination and execution
- Proficiency in using banking software and systems for credit risk assessment and proposal preparation
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines

- Responsible for credit risk assessment, risk rating and structuring of facilities for assigned corporate relationships working with Credit Relationship Managers (CRMs), meeting the customers, preparing Credit Proposals (CPs) and liaising with Wholesale Risk Management (WRM) and the Compliance Unit t
- Originate and develop complex multi product group relationships (Group Turnover > AED 3Bn)
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sector specific strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Originate and lead complex, multi product group relationships with clients, targeting high value turnover.
- Actively participate in deal origination, coordinating with client and product teams to execute mandates effectively.
- Conduct credit risk assessments, prepare credit proposals, and collaborate with Wholesale Risk Management and Compliance to address risk and compliance queries.
- Liaise with Credit Relationship Managers (CRMs) to ensure a seamless and efficient credit risk management process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a preference for a master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 8 10 years of experience in corporate banking, with a strong focus on relationship management and credit risk assessment.
- Proven track record in developing and managing complex client relationships, preferably in the energy sector.
- Excellent knowledge of credit risk management principles and practices, including risk rating and structuring of facilities.
- Strong networking and relationship building skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with high level decision makers.
- Demonstrated success in deal origination and execution, with a history of closing complex transactions.
- Proficiency in using banking software and systems for credit risk assessment and proposal preparation.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
