About CoderCo

  • CoderCo is a fast growing tech education company helping people build careers in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
  • We are now launching a specialist recruitment division, connecting organisations with high quality technical professionals from our growing community of 1,000+ people.
  • Our community is primarily UK based, with candidates also open to remote and relocation opportunities.

The Role

  • This is not a standard recruitment role.
  • You will be joining at the very beginning of a new division, with the opportunity to build and own a technical recruitment desk from the ground up.
  • You will have the autonomy to shape your market, build your client base and grow a desk in your own way, while having the backing of an established business, a growing technical community and direct access to the founders.
  • Initially, the role will be heavily focused on business development: identifying the right companies, opening doors, winning recruitment partnerships and creating opportunities for CoderCo’s technical community.
  • As the division grows, so will your role. This is a genuine opportunity for someone ambitious to become a key part of building the recruitment side of the business, with fast progression and the potential to build and lead your own team.

What you’ll do

  • Build a target list of technology companies aligned with CoderCo’s technical community
  • Win new clients through LinkedIn, email, phone outreach, networking and referrals
  • Build relationships with CTOs, Heads of Engineering, Engineering Managers and Talent Acquisition teams
  • Lead discovery meetings, secure terms of business and win recruitment assignments
  • Take vacancy briefs and manage the full recruitment process through to placement
  • Match roles with CoderCo candidates and source externally where needed
  • Manage candidate screening, shortlists, interviews, feedback and offer negotiations
  • Build long term client relationships and identify repeat hiring opportunities
  • Help shape the processes, tools and commercial approach as the division grows

What we are looking for

  • At least 3 years+ agency recruitment experience
  • Technology recruitment experience, ideally across DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE or Cyber Security
  • Proven experience running a full 360 desk, including both business development and delivery
  • A track record of winning new recruitment clients, rather than only managing existing accounts or sourcing candidates
  • Strong outbound business development experience across LinkedIn, email and phone
  • Commercially minded, resilient and proactive, with a genuine hunter mentality
  • Comfortable speaking with senior technical stakeholders
  • Someone who enjoys autonomy, ownership and building from scratch
  • Strong organisation and ATS / CRM discipline

Package

  • Base salary: AED 15,000 20,000 per month, depending on experience
  • Commission: Uncapped commission structure
  • Bonus: Additional performance based bonus structure
  • Location: Fully remote, UAE based
  • Visa and health insurance: Provided
  • Working hours: Flexible and outcomes focused, with regular UK working hours where required
