About Coderco

Our mission is to change lives through tech careers.

We help career switchers, early-career talent and experienced professionals looking to pivot or level up within the industry.

We do this through a training academy, an award-winning community and content that reaches an audience of hundreds of thousands every month.

We've placed hundreds of students into tech roles at FAANG, frontier AI labs, Fortune 500s and fast-growing startups across the UK, UAE, Europe and beyond.

Our community is one of the most active and respected in DevOps, publicly recognised by Alex Hormozi and industry leaders.

We have a proven track record of turning beginners and seasoned professionals alike into hired engineers.

We obsess over outcomes!

Every student placed, every system we ship, every piece of content we publish exists to move people closer to a career they're proud of.

We move fast, we hold a high bar and we genuinely care about the people we serve.

CoderCo is a team of operators, engineers, educators, and creators that are all the best at what they do.

We believe diverse perspectives make better products and stronger communities.

Join us and help shape the next stage of our growth.

The Role

We're looking for a highly capable

Head of Operations

to lead the operational engine of CoderCo as we scale across the UK and UAE.

This is a full-time, fully remote role,

reporting directly to the CEO

.

UAE-based candidates preferred.

You'll be the CEO's right hand and the operational engine behind everything we do.

Building the systems, structure and rigour that scales us from 1,000+ students to 10,000 and beyond, without losing the speed or soul that got us here.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across the academy, community and content arms
  • Own the student journey end to end, from onboarding through to placement
  • Hire, onboard and manage a small but high-performing team
  • Design processes, SOPs and utilise tooling (Notion, Slack, Skool, automations) that facilitates the business to scale
  • Own KPIs, reporting and operational visibility for the leadership team
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and partners
  • Build, ship and maintain internal AI workflows that remove manual work and compound team output

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, ideally at a scaling startup or education business
  • Proven track record of building systems and processes that scale
  • Experience hiring, managing, and holding people accountable without micromanaging
  • Hands-on with AI tools and automation, ideally building agent skills, MCP servers, or similar
  • Comfortable specifying, prototyping, and shipping AI workflows using tools like Claude, Cursor, n8n, and Zapier
  • Sharp written and verbal communication, highly autonomous
  • Deep care for career development, community building, and helping others win
  • Experience in EdTech, bootcamps, or community-led businesses is a plus
  • UAE-based is a plus
  • We're open to candidates based anywhere... just please have a decent internet connection XD
  • Candidate based or willing to relocate to the UAE are preffered.
  • If some of the above doesn't line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply.
  • You're the right fit if:
  • You genuinely care about people. Community building, mentorship, and seeing others win aren't buzzwords for you, they're the reason you do what you do.
  • You take ownership. When something's broken, you fix it. When something's missing, you build it. No waiting for permission.
  • You're a systems thinker. You see complexity and instinctively want to turn it into a process, a playbook, or an automation.
  • You move fast without being sloppy. High output, fail fast and iterate.
  • You're AI-native. You don't just use AI, you build with it and you're always asking how to remove yourself from the loop.
  • You thrive in ambiguity. To be transparent early-stage scaling can feel messy however if you enjoy completely autonomy with the ability to try out things that might sound "silly" or "unrealistic" to some then CoderCo is the place for you.
  • You want to build something that matters. Helping people change their careers and their lives should light you up with fulfillment.
  • You're probably not the right fit if you need a rigid playbook, prefer big-company structure or see operations as paperwork rather than craft.
  • What you get at CoderCo
  • 🤝 An ambitious, high-trust team with real ownership
  • 🧑‍💻 Direct line to the CEO and a seat at the leadership table
  • 🤖 An AI-first environment where automation is the default, not the exception
  • 🏙️ Fully remote, work from anywhere with reliable internet
  • ⏰ Flexible hours built around output, not clock-watching
  • 🌴 25 days annual leave + UAE public holidays
  • 📚 Annual learning and development budget of $2000
  • 💷 £45,000 – £70,000 base salary + performance-based bonus
