DHL Global Forwarding is hiring a Senior Rate Management Specialist in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role owns complex rate and costing processes across systems and regions.
The position is an individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage complex customer contracts and country tariffs, including governance and system updates in CW1 and RMS.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of rates and costs, including currency and exchange-rate validation.
- Lead improvements in auto-rating and auto-costing, including QuoteShop and other platform integrations.
- Liaise with commercial and operational teams to align rate loading with customer needs.
- Maintain expertise in ocean freight charge codes, calculators, USRs, and side charges.
- Support non-standard operational rates and cost impacts under DGF Service Standards.
- Coordinate with global account teams on local impacts of global customer accounts.
- Drive automation, digitalization, and process optimization.
- Resolve complex system errors and lead root-cause analysis across CW1, RMS, Cargosphere, and other systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent commercial experience or qualification.
- More than 2 years of experience in ocean freight operations, pricing, or rating.
- Fluent English and the respective local language.
Subject Matter Expertise
- Experience with CW1, RMS, Cargosphere, QuoteShop, ocean freight charge codes, calculators, USRs, and side charges.
- Ability to act as a subject matter expert and mentor junior team members.

Ocean Freight Operations.
Commercial and Sales Teams.
Global and Regional Rates and Billing Teams.
IT and System Support Teams.
