About Air Freight Operations

Operational Excellence

• Develop and enhance operational processes to support consistent volume growth.
• Procure and utilize optimal airline capacity.
• Manage warehouse operations and coordinate between the warehouse and gateway.
• Manage end-to-end shipments from pickup to delivery, including file execution, invoicing, and dispatch under SOPs.
• Follow CW1 best practices, update milestones, and use CW1 tools effectively.
• Book costs and revenue accurately to maintain operational hygiene and a healthy profit and loss position.
• Ensure shipment records are complete and timely.
• Engage carriers to design solutions, improve profitability, and address claims, disputes, and customer complaints.
• Manage complaints, claims, and compliments for export shipments.
• Independently manage assigned customer accounts under the one-file, one-operator approach.
• Drive sustainable environmental practices within air freight operations.

Stakeholder and Network Support

• Manage customer relationships and address grievances.
• Oversee billing quality and timeliness.
• Manage the end-to-end process for assigned customers from booking to delivery.
• Manage relationships with carriers, vendors, customs brokers, and network partners.
• Register complaints related to export shipments.
• Execute and support daily export operations deliverables.
• Reconcile and resolve network issues.
• Communicate frequently with sales and support functions.

Functional Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of logistics products, services, and industry operations.
• Strong customer service skills for shipment inquiries, updates, and issue resolution.
• Ability to implement CW1 and other tools to optimize operations.
• Understanding of customs procedures, tariffs, and international trade laws.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3–4 years of experience in logistics, transport, airline, or BPO operations for Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager roles.
• Basic problem-solving skills to address common operational challenges.
• Proficiency in email writing and verbal communication for internal and external coordination.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines and priorities.
• Qualified freshers are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Courses or certifications in business administration or operations management.
• Completed Cargo Basic and Dangerous Goods courses.
