- Monitor contracts final cost estimate

- Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements
- Coordinate and monitor activities of his team
- Prepare financial statements for monthly report
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 12 years' experience in quantity surveying
- Experience working internationally (preference for KSA)
- Excellent Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Jeddah.
- The role involves leading cost and commercial management activities on projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost control, and contract administration from inception to completion.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for accurately measuring and pricing using Contract drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
- Handle all post contract QS functions such as handling of interim and final payments, variations, commercial and contractual correspondence, cash flows, claims etc.
- Advise on contractual matters.
- Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
- Advice on Contractor’s resource allocation.
- Audit payments to Contractors.
- Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.
- Check and record measure of work done.
- Prepare variations and day works.
- Monitor contracts final cost estimate.
- Maintain expenditure records.
- Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Quantity surveying.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of quantity surveying for our projects.
- Lead a team of quantity surveyors and provide guidance and support.
- Perform regular reviews of contractors' and consultants’ monthly payment applications, and statements at completion, and prepare necessary payment certificates.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Revised the bill of quantities and prices periodically, to verify that the available funds are sufficient.
- Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working internationally (preference for KSA).
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
