Responsibilities
- Manage pre and post contract activities including contract administration and commercial risk assessment
- Oversee project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost reporting
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions
- Administer subcontract agreements, valuations, payments, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs against budgets and identify cost saving opportunities
- Coordinate with Project, Procurement, Estimation, Finance, and Engineering teams on commercial matters
- Support procurement activities including subcontractor/vendor evaluation and commercial assessments
- Ensure timely submission, certification, and collection of project progress payments
- Prepare and finalize project accounts, resolve commercial disputes, and support project close out
- Provide commercial advice and strategic recommendations to project teams and senior management
Requirements
- Experience in pre and post contract quantity surveying
- Knowledge of contract administration and commercial risk assessment
- Experience in cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Ability to prepare and negotiate variations, claims, and EOT submissions
- Experience with subcontract agreements, valuations, payments, and final accounts
