About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities for building and luxury villa projects
- Review contractor payment applications and prepare interim payment certificates
- Evaluate variations, claims, change orders, and extension of time submissions
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, and cost reports
- Monitor project budgets and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct quantity take offs and verify measurements in accordance with project specifications
- Review contractual documents and administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions
- Assess contractor claims and recommend appropriate commercial resolutions
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Resident Engineers, Architects, and other disciplines to ensure commercial compliance
- Attend progress meetings and provide commercial advice to the project team
- Prepare monthly commercial reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost analysis
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, company standards, and contractual obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience with engineering consultancy or construction supervision projects
- Strong experience in high rise buildings, residential developments, and luxury villa projects
- Sound knowledge of FIDIC Contracts, contract administration, cost management, and commercial procedures
- Experience in valuation of variations, claims assessment, and final accounts
- Excellent understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity take offs, and cost estimation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, CostX, CCS Candy, or similar QS software
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
