Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform inspections of site works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and client requirements
- Prepare and review quality control documentation, including ITPs, checklists, and material approvals
- Coordinate with construction teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality related issues
- Monitor and verify that all materials and equipment used meet project quality standards
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for non conformances
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality control records, test reports, and NCRs
- Support internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality training programs
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry, preferably on large scale projects
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, international codes, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ACI, ASTM)
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality documentation
- Experience with quality management systems and inspection tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality related software
- Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills
- Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, PMP, CQE) are a plus
