Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical, dimensional, and/or visual inspections as appropriate for procured or manufactured parts and subassemblies
- Operate manual and automated test and inspection equipment
- Review submitted supplier documentation as required (material and/or special process) for accuracy and completeness
- Perform part and subassembly inspection or testing
- Record legible, complete, and accurate inspection results and other documentation
- Author Discrepancy Reports (DR) as needed
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and update the calibration recall tracking system
- Guide and mentor junior quality control inspectors
- Other duties as assigned by Quality Management
- Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of experience in quality control/inspection experience in a precision machining environment
- Ability to read drawings and standards
- Significant experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Skill using standard inspection methods, and reporting requirements
- Experience operating automated inspection equipment such as comparators, height stands, surface profilometers, CMM, or similar
- Experience in a moderate volume and mix manufacturing environment
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environment such as AS9100, ISO9001, ISO13485 or similar
- Desired Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in quality control/inspection experience in an aerospace environment
- ASQ CQI Certification
- Advanced technical schooling
- Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $33.12 - $41.40 per hour, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
