Job Overview

  • Senior QC Inspector Civil responsible for quality inspections, surveillance, and witnessing at construction sites, fabrication facilities, and vendor locations.

Your Tasks

  • Report directly to COMPANY Quality Teams and act as focal point for assigned inspection activities.
  • Supervise and manage QC Inspectors and inspection personnel.
  • Review and implement QMS Procedures, PQP, ITP, Method Statements.
  • Conduct inspections and witness testing for EPC Contractors and Manufacturers.
  • Review, verify, and endorse inspection and testing records.
  • Monitor performance of Contractor and Manufacturer QC personnel.
  • Attend and represent client in QA/QC meetings.
  • Perform material receiving inspections.
  • Witness and inspect fabrication, manufacturing, testing and material verification.
  • Perform inspections for civil construction activities including site preparation, soils testing, concrete works, structural steel, foundations, roads, drainage.
  • Participate in site completion walkdowns and Punch list clearance.
  • Report discrepancies, deviations and quality concerns.

Your Qualifications And Skills

  • Minimum Two or three years Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree in Civil discipline.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Relevant civil discipline specific certification preferred.
  • Experience in construction sites, fabrication yards, manufacturing facilities, and vendor source inspections.
  • Previous ADNOC project experience an added advantage.
  • Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, inspection procedures and QA/QC documentation requirements.
  • Good communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and quality records.
  • Travel: Frequent travel to project sites, fabrication facilities and vendor locations within UAE.
