About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and witness testing for activities performed by EPC Contractors and Manufacturers in accordance with approved ITPs and project requirements
- Review, verify, and endorse inspection and testing records for compliance with applicable standards and specifications
- Perform inspections for civil construction activities including site preparation, soils testing, concrete works, structural steel, foundations, roads, and drainage systems
- Identify, report, and follow up on Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions
- Ensure all inspections and tests and related project quality records are completed and properly documented
Requirements
- Minimum Two or three years Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree in Civil discipline
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, inspection procedures and QA/QC documentation requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and quality records
- Valid UAE Driving License is preferred

Job Overview
- QC Inspector Civil Engineering responsible for quality inspections, surveillance, and witnessing at construction sites, fabrication facilities, and vendor locations.
Your Tasks
- Conduct inspections and witness testing for EPC Contractors and Manufacturers.
- Review, verify, and endorse inspection and testing records.
- Monitor performance of Contractor and Manufacturer QC personnel.
- Attend and represent client in QA/QC meetings.
- Perform material receiving inspections.
- Witness and inspect fabrication, manufacturing, testing and material verification.
- Perform inspections for civil construction activities including site preparation, soils testing, concrete works, structural steel, foundations, roads, drainage.
- Participate in site completion walkdowns and Punch list clearance.
- Report discrepancies, deviations and quality concerns.
- Identify, report, and follow up on NCRs.
- Ensure all inspections and tests and related project quality records are completed and properly documented.
Your Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum Two or three years Technical Diploma or Engineering Degree in Civil discipline.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas industry.
- Relevant civil discipline specific certification preferred.
- Experience in construction sites, fabrication yards, manufacturing facilities, and vendor source inspections.
- Previous ADNOC project experience an added advantage.
- Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, inspection procedures and QA/QC documentation requirements.
- Good communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and quality records.
- Travel: Frequent travel to project sites, fabrication facilities and vendor locations within UAE.
