Role overview
Senior QA Engineer role supporting intelligent transport technology and transaction-heavy systems.
The role focuses on quality leadership, strategy, automation architecture, shift-left practices, and influence across engineering delivery.
The position works across Agile teams with engineers, product owners, CloudOps, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product-wide and solution-wide quality strategy.
- Lead automation architecture and embed shift-left testing practices.
- Strengthen CI/CD quality gates and oversee testing from feature verification through production testing.
- Mentor QA engineers, introduce AI-enabled capabilities, and help shape a high-performing quality culture.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software quality assurance experience in complex Agile development environments.
- Proven experience designing automated testing frameworks for functional, API, integration, and regression testing.
- Strong experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and embedding shift-left quality practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in test strategy, risk-based testing, and defect prevention analysis.
- Experience testing high-integrity, transaction-heavy systems such as transport, banking, retail, or other mission-critical platforms.
