Position Overview

ITC Infotech is seeking a Senior Python Developer with 6–7 years of experience.

The role focuses on cloud migration, backend systems, telemetry processing, databases, secure APIs, and identity management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate backend services, microservices, and data pipelines from AWS to Microsoft Azure.
  • Map AWS resources to Azure equivalents and optimize cloud-native performance.
  • Maintain backend integrations and ensure high-availability, low-latency telemetry processing.
  • Administer PostgreSQL and InfluxDB databases for transactional and time-series data.
  • Build and secure RESTful APIs for internal services and external client integrations.
  • Maintain Google API, Google Auth, ADB2C, and Microsoft Active Directory integrations.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Requires 6–7 years of enterprise Python experience and strong knowledge of modern Python frameworks or asynchronous programming.
  • Requires hands-on AWS-to-Azure migration experience for production workloads, databases, and application state.
  • Requires advanced PostgreSQL and InfluxDB experience.
  • Requires deep REST API design, security, versioning, serialization, and integration testing knowledge.
  • Requires OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, ADB2C, and Microsoft Active Directory integration experience.
  • Requires experience designing telemetry or high-frequency event data pipelines.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with connected-device architectures, telemetry ingestion, MQTT, AMQP, or CoAP is preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure IoT Hub, Azure Event Hubs, or Azure Time Series Insights is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SonarQube, Azure Key Vault, or AWS Secrets Manager is preferred.

Additional Capabilities

The role requires architectural problem-solving, legacy code analysis, technical debt assessment, and cloud-native solution design.

The role requires clear communication of migration plans, technical trade-offs, and backend architecture to varied stakeholders.

A proactive mindset and willingness to adopt emerging cloud-native technologies are valued.
