Senior Purchaser

Key Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, components, and other goods as per production requirements.
• Coordinate with production, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material availability.
• Identify and manage vendors and obtain quotations as per company procurement policies.
• Create and process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries and order commitments.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice processing and payment-related matters.
• Resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to support production while minimizing excess inventory.
• Continuously improve purchasing processes and supplier management practices.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience to manage procurement activities and ensure the timely availability of materials for production
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial purchasing environments.
• Knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
• Vendor management and supplier coordination.
• Purchase order and inventory management.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Immediate Joiners/candidates who can join at the earliest will be given preference.
