Leads a team of Product Sales Managers selling and servicing the Rolls business area.

Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and other communication within assigned accounts.

Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements within assigned accounts.

Overseas and manages the quotation process and supports team in the quotation process and ensure timely follow up with customers.

Will resolve communication or pipeline delays from key stakeholders internal and external

Review examine and resolve customer complaints

Provides market trends and analysis, including competitor activity, lost order tracking, and pricing changes.

Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).

Manages the territory sales forecast/budget for assigned areas

Assist in collection of accounts receivable.

Assist in data collection/distribution of marketing/sales/product launch

Assist in distribution/collection of customer satisfaction survey.

Abides by Valmet’s Manager Role competencies and behaviors for impactful leadership

Is responsible for tactical and strategic people processes including performance management, succession planning and talent reviews, engagement efforts, development, as well as lead recruiting and onboarding efforts

Travel is required for this job.

What you’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or equivalent with 10 years of experience.

Experience in the pulp and paper industry would be an asset

Basic knowledge of the paper making process, paper machinery, and paper machine rolls

Proven track record of leadership and ability to drive change and continuous improvement

Ability to communicate effectively and influence others in a positive way

Good understanding of sales and marketing

Excellent organizational skills, customer oriented, ability to prepare and make presentations

Able to travel in the United States and internationally
