Senior Manager, Global Plant Engineering

Are you ready for the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and global thinking person to manage and develop our plant engineering activities. Pulp, Energy and Circularity business line supplies complete pulp mills and process equipment for chemical and mechanical pulp production, as well as biomass- and waste-fueled power plants, boiler islands and related environmental systems. The business area’s customers are mainly pulp producers and power and heat producers.

You will report to Vice President, Global Engineering and will be part of the PEC Global Engineering Management Team. You will work closely together with other engineering and project execution functions as well as the TUs and BUs.

Position is located in Chennai, Tamilnadu.

You have 17-20 years of relevant engineering leadership experience in project-driven environments.

You have demonstrated experience leading complex engineering projects with significant business impact.

You have strong people leadership experience, including team structure design, performance management, and talent development.

You can effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, production, commercial teams, and subcontractors.

You are comfortable working in a regional or global environment across multiple locations.

Success in this role requires strong engineering leadership, the ability to deliver complex projects through large and distributed teams, and sound judgment when balancing technical, business, and resource considerations. You will need to collaborate effectively across functions, drive operational excellence, and create an environment where teams can perform at their best. Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and leading change in a dynamic engineering environment is essential.
