Senior Purchaser

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) sourcing activities for parts procurement.
• Drive sourcing initiatives, localization projects, supplier development, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders, category managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Understand RFQ requirements, float RFQs to suppliers, and evaluate quotations.
• Prepare cost comparisons, techno-commercial evaluations, and sourcing recommendations.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) in ERP systems (BAAN/Infor LN or similar).
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Coordinate inspections, logistics, invoicing, dispatch, and payment follow-ups.
• Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
• Track sourcing project pipelines and report savings initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, Values, and Code of Conduct.

Required Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
• Ability to lead cost-saving and localization initiatives.
• Good analytical and engineering skills, including drawing interpretation.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (BAAN, Infor LN, SAP, or similar).
• Self-driven with good planning and reporting capabilities.
