The Southern Redevelopment, Stage 1 includes upgrades and new builds at Flinders Medical Centre, which will provide southern suburbs’ residents with better access to vital healthcare, in turn improving patient flow and reducing pressure on the system.
The Senior Project Manager will assist the Director of Capital Redevelopment, and work closely with the redevelopment team, clinical and corporate divisions, to ensure the successful delivery of the capital works projects through sound project management, operational planning and coordination. This includes strategic analysis and liaison with key stakeholders with the reform, alignment and coordination of programs, change management, providing advice/consultation and supporting leadership on the projects affected by the redevelopment program.
Duties for the role will include:

Lead, develop and foster a positive work culture which is based on SA Public Sector and SALHN values and promotes patient / client focussed service, learning and development, safety and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity and innovation.
Ensure oversite, alignment and coordination of the Redevelopment Project.
Encourage and support involvement of all relevant stakeholders in project and program design and development
Lead significant scoping, engagement, reform and change including at a policy level.

Demonstrated skills in analysing and interpreting data (whether qualitative or quantitative) with high level attention to detail, communicating the information concisely and accurately, in either verbal or written format to accommodate the key stakeholder audience.
Superior written and verbal communication skills to enable effective interaction and achievement of result including research of, and preparation of a range of documents/correspondence including board level reporting and management information
Significant demonstrated experience in Project Management and managing complex programs of work, in a complex organisation, and during periods of change,
Proven experience in managing reform initiatives, and knowledge of recognised and accepted project management methodologies
Significant demonstrated experience in dealing with people at all levels in a complex multi-organisation environment
