Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and manage project operations to the budget, controlling project staffing levels, organizational structure, and monitoring project discipline structures.
- Ensure project work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects, including taking a leadership role in the preparation of proposals.
- Ensure clear agreement of client objectives and that these are met or exceeded.
- Achieve or better the budgeted gross margin.
- Effectively manage Worley/Client contract, including delivery of the budget gross margin.
- Manage and monitor project performance on an ongoing basis to identify issues and opportunities early and take pre-emptive action.
- Effectively manage project interfaces, including use of High Value Engineering centres.
- Develop resource and financial requirements from the project plan.
- Manage the design, procurement, and construction activities to meet the project schedule.
- Provide clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit that vision.
- Assess procurement process throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.
Industry Specific Experience
- Prior experience must include significant project experience and successful project management.
- Vast relevant experience in a supervisory and/or project management role including technical expertise.
- Strong experience in Offshore experience on Brownfield projects.
- Mandatory experience in Pre-FEED and FEED phase.
HSE Capability
- Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.
- Demonstrate behavior and business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Identify and report work hazards and incidents.
IT Skills
- MS Office Suite.
People Skills
- Able to work in diverse team.
- Able to make difficult decisions and lead and manage others in changing business conditions.
- Highly effective people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills. Must be able to build, motivate, develop, and manage an effective team.
