Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of infrastructure projects from concept through handover and closeout
- Develop project execution strategies, implementation plans, and stage gate deliverables
- Manage scope, schedule, and cost; monitor progress and drive corrective actions
- Coordinate with design managers and consultants to ensure timely design deliverables
- Support procurement strategies and manage contractor performance
- Oversee on site execution ensuring adherence to design, specifications, and HSE standards
- Lead project handover processes including punch lists, as built documentation, and O&M manuals
- Establish and maintain project risk and issues registers
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management and clients
- Lead and mentor multi disciplinary project team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related engineering discipline
- 15+ years of progressive project management experience on major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation through commissioning and handover
- Experience with standard forms of contract (FIDIC) preferred
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred
- Chartered/Professional Engineer status preferred

Position Summary
- The Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure is responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
- The role leads multi‑disciplinary teams and multiple contractors from initiation through design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of infrastructure projects from concept through handover and closeout.
- Develop project execution strategies, implementation plans, and stage‑gate deliverables.
- Establish project governance, roles and responsibilities, communication protocols.
- Provide clear leadership to project teams.
- Develop and manage the integrated Project Management Plan.
- Work with planning and project controls teams to establish baseline programs and budgets.
- Monitor progress against schedule and budget; identify variances and drive corrective actions.
- Manage scope changes and variations through formal change control.
- Coordinate with design managers and consultants to ensure timely design deliverables.
- Ensure designs are aligned with project requirements, constructability, maintainability, and HSE‑by‑design.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary interface management.
- Oversee resolution of key technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- 15+ years of progressive project management experience on major infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation through commissioning and handover.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business.
- Professional project management certification such as PMP or equivalent.
- Chartered/Professional Engineer status (CEng, PE) or equivalent.
- Experience with standard forms of contract (FIDIC) and their commercial and time‑related provisions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management skills across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change control.
- Solid understanding of core infrastructure disciplines (roads, civils, structures, utilities) and their interfaces.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficiency with project management and planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing and presentation skills.
