- Plan, direct, supervise, and control execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project
- Oversee establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents
- Establish program requirements for all areas of the project and monitor deliverables for adherence
- Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates
- Negotiate changes to scope of work with client and key subcontractors
- Market and secure additional work with client
- Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project
- Develop and distribute project summary to project team
- Provide input on performance reviews and development plans for subordinates
- Mobilize company resources to create project teams
- Collaborate with office facilities staff to address project space requirements
- Work with managers and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical/business field
- Minimum of 20 years of related work experience
- Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements
- Familiarity with integration of engineering/technical aspects, procurement and construction activities
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects
- Prior PMC experience with strong construction background within consultancy environments
- Proven exposure to complex, high value developments in the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi
- Knowledge of project management tools, contract administration, and construction standards

Job Description
- Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Sr. Project Manager.
- The role requires strong leadership across construction supervision, client management, and commercial delivery, ensuring successful execution of large scale community developments and associated infrastructure works.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
- Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
- Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
- Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
- Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
- Markets and secures additional work with client.
- Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
- Responsible for the development and distribution of a project summary to all members of the project team for reference.
- Provides input on performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
- Mobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
- Discusses the qualifications required of the key project positions in specific detail with the profit center and department managers.
- Collaborates with the office facilities staff to address project space requirements.
