- Review architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist design packages; provide recommendations and ensure technical accuracy
- Liaise with design consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams to ensure seamless project progression
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for design and construction phases
- Identify design and construction risks early and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to IFC drawings, and resolve design related issues during execution
- Ensure compliance with design standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Support cost planning, value engineering, and budget adherence throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare progress reports, design review summaries, and executive updates
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final documentation to ensure smooth project close out
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 14 years of experience in design and construction project management
- Strong background in design development, design review, and technical coordination
- Proven experience managing full design lifecycle projects (concept to handover)
- Experience working with multidisciplinary design teams and major contractors
- Solid understanding of UAE building codes, authority requirements, and construction standards
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is an advantage
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview
- The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of design and construction projects from concept through handover.
- The role requires a strong technical background in design, the ability to review and challenge design proposals, and deep understanding of the full design lifecycle.
- The SPM will act as the primary interface between internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Oversight — Lead and manage the full design lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project scope, standards, and client requirements.
- Design Review — Review architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist design packages; provide recommendations, identify gaps, and ensure technical accuracy.
- Stakeholder Coordination — Liaise with design consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams to ensure seamless project progression.
- Project Planning — Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for design and construction phases.
- Risk & Issue Management — Identify design and construction risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Construction Oversight — Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to IFC drawings, and resolve design related issues during execution.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Location Requirement
- This role is based full time in Madinat Zayed, with regular coordination across Abu Dhabi and other project sites as required.
