Responsibilities
- Interpret, design, and review plumbing and drainage systems for building and infrastructure projects
- Ensure full compliance with UAE authority regulations, including submissions and approvals
- Apply and interpret international plumbing codes, including IPC and UPC
- Develop and review plumbing layouts using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
- Perform and verify MEP calculations including water demand, pipe sizing, drainage, vent sizing, pump head, and hot water system sizing
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues and ensure system integration
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with design intent
- Participate in technical meetings, inspections, and design reviews
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 15 years of experience in plumbing and drainage design for building or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations (e.g., ADM, ADQCC, Civil Defense, Municipality)
- Solid understanding of IPC and UPC plumbing codes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM)
- Proficiency in MEP calculation tools (e.g., HAP, Elite, or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Position Overview
- Seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer with a strong background in building services design, authority compliance, and international plumbing standards.
- The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university and bring extensive experience working with UAE regulations, plumbing codes, and modern MEP design tools including AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and specialized calculation software.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret, design, and review plumbing and drainage systems for building and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE authority regulations, including submissions and approvals.
