Role Overview

Senior Project Engineer role supporting PMC and construction management projects.

The role focuses on mechanical quantity verification, contractor billing, progress monitoring, and construction coordination for an industrial project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify contractor measurements, running bills, and final bills for mechanical works.
  • Validate executed quantities against approved BOQs, drawings, and work orders.
  • Monitor piping, equipment installation, supports, utilities, and associated mechanical works.
  • Coordinate measurement reconciliation and billing approvals with site teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Track material consumption, installation status, and progress against schedules.
  • Review mechanical shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and technical submittals.
  • Conduct site inspections before bill certification.
  • Support variation analysis and quantity reconciliation.
  • Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, DPRs, and project documentation.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with cost monitoring and progress reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, piping, utility networks, and equipment installation.
  • Experience with quantity surveying, contractor billing, rate analysis, and BOQ verification.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, site measurement practices, and billing documentation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project reporting tools.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with contractors, consultants, and cross-functional PMC teams.
