Senior Project Engineer

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project implementation interfaces with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in site visits, project review meetings, and technical discussions.
• Monitor engineering activities related to project interfaces and grid studies.
• Facilitate communication and resolution of interface issues.
• Identify risks affecting implementation schedules and recommend mitigation measures.
• Assist with interface-related claims, delays, and disputes.
• Track interface activities against the implementation schedule.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations on interface activities and approvals.
• Manage project agreements and follow up completion against requirements and implementation plans.
• Oversee contracted project activities for alignment with technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure required approvals and Grid Code compliance.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum two years of power generation or transmission experience with relevant IPP exposure.
• Experience in IPP project development, engineering, implementation, and grid interconnection.
• Experience with EPC contractors, project developers, and utilities is preferred.
• Ability to determine required actions, risks, and end results.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across large projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to review technical documentation, engineering reports, and project schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Project professional certification is a plus.
