Purpose
Ensure reliable and cost-effective energy procurement while maintaining grid stability.
Coordinate energy transactions, contract management, and data processing to meet corporate and operational objectives.
Support Saudi Arabia's power system transition by aligning trading activities with renewable and conventional energy targets in compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with bulk customers and retail licensees to ensure reliable power supply, contractual compliance, and effective wholesale electricity sales.
- Assist in wholesale power invoicing, including preparation, review, timely delivery, and alignment with settlement data.
- Ensure account settlements and payment collections in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Understand technical and commercial disputes related to power sales and purchase agreements.
- Coordinate disputes with legal and other stakeholders while ensuring adherence to contractual and market regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in management roles involving power purchase, power contract management, power production, or customer relations.
Certifications
- Professional certifications in project management, such as PMP, are beneficial.
- Contract management certification, such as CPCM, is preferred for contracts planning or management.
- Procurement management certification, such as CIPM, is preferred for power purchase management.
Additional Skills
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication skills.
