- Provide project controls support on major projects, including planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and performance reporting activities
- Analyze, evaluate, and forecast project performance against approved baseline schedules
- Assess the impacts of design changes, construction changes, and schedule delays, providing recommendations to minimize project risks
- Prepare and present schedule status reports to project management and clients
- Develop, maintain, and update critical path schedules, logic networks, and project performance reports
- Support the development and customization of project control systems to meet project specific requirements
- Monitor project progress, identify potential schedule issues, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project objectives
- Maintain and analyze historical project data to support planning, forecasting, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and support in resolving complex project controls and scheduling issues
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment between project activities and delivery plans
- Support resource planning and provide input regarding project controls staffing requirements
- Assist in mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior project controls personnel when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, or project management support
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes and project delivery methodologies
- Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, critical path networks, and project performance reports
- Proficiency in project controls software and scheduling tools
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze project performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and manage multiple priorities
