Role Overview
Respawn Entertainment is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, interconnected strategic initiatives across its studio ecosystem.
The role partners with Production, Technology, Art, Product Management, CTO, Talent Acquisition, and Quality Verification & Services teams.
Initial focus areas include AI Council Operations, talent recruiting and resource management operations, and outsourcing vendor operations.
Location and Work Model
- The role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the Great Northern Way location, with a hybrid work arrangement.
AI Council Operations and Governance
- Drive the AI Council’s operating cadence, roadmap execution, and agenda while aligning with EA’s central AI initiatives.
- Partner with technology teams to evaluate, deploy, and support internal AI and machine learning tools.
- Establish workflows and policy guidelines for responsible AI usage across game teams.
Talent Recruiting Operations
- Set up and operate the Respawn Resource Management Organization function to support internal talent mobility and cross-studio staffing.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to streamline recruitment and talent evaluation workflows and resolve hiring bottlenecks.
- Track hiring velocity, forecast resourcing needs, and improve onboarding readiness for multi-studio projects.
Vendor and Partner Operations
- Oversee lifecycle management for external development vendors, co-development studios, and strategic technology partners.
- Manage partner workstreams involving live operations, technical integration, and collaborative workshops.
- Track vendor contracts, budget allocations, and performance evaluations with finance and game team producers.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Program manage initiatives connecting internal development teams with central EA partners.
- Provide executive updates, risk assessments, and status dashboards to studio and enterprise leadership.
- Identify opportunities to standardize tools, reduce friction, and increase development throughput.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of program management, project management, or operational leadership experience in gaming, technology, or complex creative environments.
- Experience leading diverse stakeholders by influence and aligning creative, technical, and corporate teams.
- Understanding of game development lifecycles, production pipelines, and enterprise AI tools or governance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, organizational, and risk-management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-studio game development frameworks or AAA franchise production environments.
- Hands-on experience with governance programs, technology rollouts, resource management, or strategic external partnerships.
- Familiarity with EA or similar large-scale publisher and studio operations.
Compensation
- The listed British Columbia pay range is CAD 141,400 to CAD 204,400, depending on location and other business and candidate factors.
- Eligible regular full-time employees may receive benefits including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and certain incentive programs.
