Job Purpose
- To develop programs for the running, implementation, and evaluation of ongoing reading programs, including content creation and editing for Qatar Reads targets.
Key Result Areas
- Develop relationships with private and public entities for collaborative programs.
- Research and develop new programs for target groups and scale existing ones.
- Advise on theories, methods, and materials of reading, language, and assessment.
- Facilitate a network of key individuals and talents locally and internationally.
- Select reading materials and set reading goals for target groups.
- Review and suggest reading topics with QNL, MoE, Scholastic, and publishers.
- Record, inspect, and report Family Reading Program financial subscriptions monthly and yearly.
- Supervise money collection, product delivery, and user services.
- Verify content accuracy and ensure adherence to campaign goals.
- Create, rewrite, edit, and proofread content; manage social media, newsletters, press releases, articles, and advertising.
- Follow up with other departments and external entities.
- Draft documents and reports in English and Arabic.
