About the Role
Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group seeks a Senior Product Owner / SVP Digital Assets to drive digital asset use cases like stablecoins and blockchain solutions within Payments and Retail Assets.

Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new digital asset use cases aligned with strategic objectives.
- Lead creation of robust business cases to support investment and resource allocation.
- Establish and lead squads for delivery of digital asset initiatives.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including compliance, risk, technology, and operations.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Partner with technology teams to design and implement scalable blockchain and stablecoin solutions.
- Lead initiatives to enhance digital asset solutions for cross border money transfers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in crypto/blockchain product implementation within financial services
- Solid understanding of digital payment flows and digital asset technologies
- Experience in cross border money transfer and SWIFT payments strongly preferred

Job Purpose

- Create new revenue streams, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs using emerging digital asset technologies.
Key Result Areas

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in crypto/blockchain product implementation within financial services.
- Solid understanding of digital payment flows and digital asset technologies.
- Experience in cross border money transfer and SWIFT payments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and lead multi disciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
