About the Role
The Senior Product Manager will join the Platform team, which owns infrastructure, security, and internal tooling that supports other teams.
The product management organization consists of six PMs and is led by the co-founder and Head of Product.
The role reports to the co-founder and Head of Product.
Responsibilities
- Own platform product management end to end across security issues, AI infrastructure, security improvements, data, compliance, and technical upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture, tradeoffs, implementation details, and complex technical problems.
- Manage the product roadmap, resolve ambiguity, and determine what to build and when.
- Frame problems and explain the rationale behind solving them for engineers and designers.
- Conduct user interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Set product requirements and work with designers and engineers to select solutions.
- Collaborate in an asynchronous, low-meeting culture and drive decisions with a light touch.
- Help the team understand the impact of shipped work.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of product management experience on a platform team such as infrastructure, platform, security, search, or data.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering or engineering management experience.
- Exceptional technical fluency and complex technical problem-solving ability.
- Strong product intuition and roadmap planning ability.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions without perfect information and work independently.
- Empathy for users and teammates.
Compensation
- Base salary is listed as $250,000 to $325,000.
- The role offers equity and benefits including health coverage, unlimited paid time off, and paid parental leave.
Workplace
- The role is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the Americas.
