About the Role

- Involve engineers, designers and others to create shared vision and clear goals for the product
- Research competitors and verticals; prepare reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential
- Create and collaborate on financial business models, conduct business opportunity reviews with leadership
- Define metrics to inform product success and drive user experience improvements
- Design product training curriculum; lead cross functional trainings and meetings
- Identify and collaborate with partners to enhance the product
- Create backlogs, work regularly with the team to refine and add detail
- Lead definition of allowable configurations, test cases and execute UAT
- Manage stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
Requirements
- 7+ years experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred

Job Summary
- Designs, develops and manages the lifecycle of a product or group of products from concept to launch to end of life.
- Translates market opportunities and customer demand into viable products and services that differentiate Equinix in the market.
- Sets the vision and strategy for their product ensuring it is competitively positioned and customer centric.
- Manages the product roadmap including features, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
- Works cross functionally with user experience, engineering, operations, solution architects, marketing and others to design, build and launch new products and/or product features.
Responsibilities

- Researches competitors and verticals; prepares more complex reports related to financial position, competitive position and market potential
- Creates and collaborates on the financial business models, conducts compelling business opportunity reviews with the leadership team
- Defines metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements
- Designs product training curriculum; leads cross functional trainings and meetings
- Identifies and collaborates with partners to enhance the product
- Creates backlogs, working regularly with the team to refine and add detail where needed
- Collaborates closely with technology teams
- Leads definition of allowable configurations, test cases and executes UAT
- Manages stakeholder expectations within and/or across functions
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Pay Range
- Canada Toronto Office TRO: 131,000 181,000 CAD / Annual
- Individual pay based on job related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
- Targeted pay range reflects base pay only; does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
