About the Role
Equinix seeks a Lead Sales Engineer to lead complex technical sales engagements across key accounts. You will own the technical relationship with customers, design end-to-end solutions spanning data center, interconnection, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, qualification and solutioning for strategic opportunities
- Own the technical relationship with customers and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Understand customer business priorities, technical requirements, and map them to Equinix solutions
- Hold architecture level discussions on network design, interconnection strategy and application environments
- Design end to end solutions spanning data center, interconnection, cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Lead customer meetings, technical workshops, whiteboarding sessions and executive level discussions
- Support complex RFIs, RFPs, quoting, technical documentation and customer deliverables
- Influence internal stakeholders across sales, operations, capacity, customer success and other teams
- Mentor other Sales Engineers and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline
- Proven years of experience in technical sales, pre sales or solutions engineering, ideally in data center, cloud, networking or telecommunications environments
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, interconnection, network modernization and hybrid cloud architectures
- Ability to discuss customer network architecture and application architecture in a credible, consultative way
- Proven success leading complex customer engagements and influencing technical and business stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast changing environment
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
