The Senior Procurement Officer manages end-to-end procurement for multiple active construction projects.
The role coordinates with a real estate developer and an in-house contracting company to ensure timely and compliant procurement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for seven concurrent construction projects.
- Liaise with the real estate developer and internal contracting teams on procurement requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare RFQs, analyze bids, issue LPOs, and manage contracts.
- Ensure compliance with UAE commercial, contract, and construction regulations.
- Coordinate with project, planning, and finance teams to meet budgets and schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and cost control.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of construction procurement experience is required.
- Experience with real estate developers and in-house contracting companies is required.
- A strong network of UAE subcontractors and suppliers is required.
- Solid knowledge of UAE laws, contracts, and procurement practices is required.
- Construction procurement experience in the UAE and a bachelor's degree are preferred.
Compensation
- The pay is AED 8,000 to AED 12,000 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person in Dubai.
