Role Overview

Provide process engineering and flow assurance expertise during EPC, commissioning and start-up phases until handover to Operations.

Ensure project deliverables meet safety, operability, reliability and maintainability requirements throughout the facility lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Operations during EPC, commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZID, SIL, HAZOP, MOC and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical support for commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting.
  • Support punch-list activities, warranty claim resolution and project tie-ins.
  • Develop SOPs and process surveillance tools for new projects and operating assets.
  • Monitor process performance and escalate operational threats or deviations.
  • Participate in system completion and pre-commissioning walk-downs.
  • Support chemical and catalyst loading and other critical activities when required.
  • Maintain an issue register covering reliability, availability and cybersecurity risks.
  • Prepare process engineering handover packages following start-up.
  • Provide technical advice to Operations and Maintenance teams.
  • Consider CAPEX and OPEX in technical recommendations and comply with company and industry requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of experience in an oil and gas environment.
  • Strong process engineering and flow assurance experience.
  • Experience with EPC, commissioning and start-up of oil and gas facilities.
  • Practical experience with HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, risk assessments and MOC.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, optimization, process surveillance and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with system completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, tie-ins and handover.
  • Experience working with contractors, consultants, vendors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Knowledge of process safety, reliability, operability and maintainability requirements.
  • Experience with complex and large-scale oil and gas projects is preferred.
