Responsibilities
- Manage all government relations activities and act as primary point of contact with UAE government authorities
- Oversee employee immigration processes including visas, work permits, Emirates ID, and medical fitness procedures
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, immigration regulations, and statutory requirements
- Process and monitor labour contracts, work permits, and employment related documentation
- Coordinate timely renewal of company trade licences, establishment cards, and corporate documentation
- Liaise with external agencies and government departments to obtain approvals and certifications
- Maintain accurate records of employee immigration files and company licences
- Monitor changes in UAE government regulations and provide guidance to HR and business stakeholders
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by managing government documentation
- Prepare reports and maintain trackers for visas, licences, permits, and compliance deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 5 8 years of UAE PRO/Government Relations experience
- Strong working knowledge of UAE labour law, immigration procedures, and government regulations
- Hands on experience using UAE government portals and digital services
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem solving skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail

Position Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Senior PRO (Government Relations) to manage and oversee all government relations activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour, immigration, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as primary liaison with government authorities for timely processing of employee and corporate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all government relations activities and act as primary point of contact with UAE government authorities including MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, municipalities, free zones, customs, and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversee employee immigration processes including employment visas, work permits, Emirates ID applications, renewals, transfers, cancellations, dependent visas, and medical fitness procedures.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, immigration regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Process and monitor labour contracts, work permits, and employment related documentation.
- Coordinate timely renewal of company trade licences, establishment cards, commercial registrations, permits, and other corporate documentation.
- Liaise with external agencies and government departments to obtain approvals, clearances, and required certifications.
- Maintain accurate records of employee immigration files and company licences, ensuring all renewals are completed within required timelines.
- Monitor changes in UAE government regulations and provide guidance to HR and business stakeholders on compliance requirements.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by managing all related government documentation.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with government authorities and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and maintain trackers for visas, licences, permits, and compliance deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve government relations processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of UAE PRO/Government Relations experience, preferably within a large corporate, logistics, maritime, or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE labour law, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
- Hands on experience using UAE government portals and digital services.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem solving skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
